Belgian hip-hop duo blackwave. have turned our heads with their new single, ‘perfume’, which features Californian rapper Caleborate. It’s a down-tempo track that looks at the way perfume is able to evoke memories. This relatable lyrical focus is supported by a heavenly string arrangement that merges beautifully with atmospheric, dreamy, lo-fi beats. On part of the inspiration behind the track, they say: “I remembered this moment when I was in the mall, contemplating if I’d buy some expensive perfume, and thinking to myself; ‘I don’t deserve this yet.
